Data Deletion Instructions
You can delete the data Trendys received from your Instagram or TikTok account, or your whole Trendys account, at any time. Choose any of the options below.
Option 1. Remove the app in Instagram
- Open Instagram → Settings and activity → Apps and websites.
- On the “Active” tab select Trendys and tap Remove.
Instagram automatically sends us a deletion request. We immediately delete the access token, synced media and insights, automations, contacts and message logs linked to that Instagram account. You receive a confirmation code you can use to check the status of the request.
Option 2. Disconnect the account in Trendys
- Sign in to Trendys → Settings → Social accounts (/settings/social-accounts).
- Click Disconnect next to the account.
The same data as in option 1 is deleted, and access is revoked on the platform as well.
Option 3. Delete your Trendys account
Settings → Profile → Delete account. Your account and all related data are deleted, except payment records we are legally required to keep.
Option 4. Email us
Email support@trendys.io with the subject “Data deletion” and include your Trendys account email or Instagram username. If you messaged a creator who uses our automations, also include the account you contacted. We complete requests within 30 days.
